Thought I would post about some useful FPL related links which some people may find useful/interesting/entertaining. Now I am sure I have forget some sites/links. And if I have not listed a site, it doesn’t I don’t like the site/them, its either I just forgot right now or a case of I can’t mention every FPL thing I visit/watch/listen.
General FPL content
Fantasy Football Scout – show everyone knows about this site. Loads of content. Also a good YouTube channel
Useful “live” gameweek sites
These are the sites which I generally have open on computer actually when matches are happening. Its a good way to see how many points you will have so far, how you are comparing to others in your mini-leagues, and also how players are doing compared to others for things like bonus points
FPLGameweek – I think this site is generally still not that well known but its a great site to quickly see how you are doing in your various mini-leagues. Also, you could see stuff such as how many people in a mini-league own the same player, are they playing or just on bench and few other things
LiveFPL – well known site with lots of tools. I use it mostly for the live rank and to see what overall rank I am at the moment. Although the overall rank it says may not be 100% accurate, its very close
FPL Alerts – good site to see in all the matches happening, how the various players are doing on BPS (bonus point system) – plus you can see who scored, who got assist, bookings
Forza – now this isn’t a web site but just an app I have on my phone to send me score alerts. There are another apps that do similar thing but this is the one I use. You follow different teams and you can get alerts for goals, bookings, final score, team-news etc. And if you to mute a particular match, you can do. Be careful if you are doing the Match of the Day challenge because your phone could ruin it for you!
Useful sites during the season
Foomni Analytics – has various useful FPL tools but the main reason I use this site is if I want to compare 2 different players. It sometimes helps if you can’t decide which player to transfer in.
Premier Fantasy Tools – another one of those sites with lots of different tools. You can see your Live FPL Rank, similar to on LiveFPL but also it has other fixture and planning tools, to see which team has the best fixtures, looking at the chip usage of various managers (top 5k, top 100 etc).
FPL Analytics – a site with several different tools and lots of data. Want to find out how many goals and assists a player got in the 2016/17 season, you can find that info here, you want to see who had the best points per game in 2019/20? You can find that info here. They also have
GameChange – this site has some various FPL tools which are probably more useful towards the end of the season. Such as the What-if tool which shows you how many points you would have got if you never made any transfers or changed captain. Or the tool to compare you v The Average score. One tool which you can use now is the Career History Analyser which shows you how well you’ve done in seasons gone by – plus your average points/rank. Possibly useful just as a comparison because there are a lot more people playing the game now than one in started.
I am not going to list all the FPL related Twitter accounts I follow because there are too many but I think a couple you should follow, if not already, are Ben Dinnery and Ben Crellin.
Ben Dinnery – worthwhile following Ben so you are up to date with injury news
Ben Crellin – brilliant expert gameweek planner. Very useful to follow Ben around the time when things like possible double gameweeks and blanks may happen. Some brilliant spreadsheets showing likely outcomes, percentage change of teams blanking a gameweek.
YouTube/Podcast
Similar to with Twitter, I am not going to name all the FPL YouTube/Podcasts I watch and listen to but to name a few.
FPL Family – I have watched Lee and Sam from FPL Family pretty much from their first stream. As well as coming across as really nice, they offered something a bit different where instead of just one person talking, it was 2 people so it was like listening on to people having a conversation about FPL. And of course being husband and wife, they have great chemistry! LOL. They also have a Twitter and Instagram account.
Let’s Talk FPL – I think everyone in the “FPL Community” knows about Andy. Great content.
And a few other YouTube channels/Podcasts I try to catch up on – although there is so much content out there its almost not possible to listen to every single video/episode!
Planet FPL, All out Attack, Always Cheating, WGTA, FPL Nymfria and obviously the Official Fantasy Premier League Podcast
