So after an awful gameweek 2, I was hopeful for an improvement gameweek 3. I played my wildcard and in the end I got 51 points and a gameweek rank of 1.6m so “OK” – ish.

Gameweek 3

Only Mahrez scored in the team, and TAA got an assist and 3bp so take that (although he did get booked). And also Podence didn’t play. In most seasons I would be disappointed but its a strange season and it was a green arrow so will take it.

Gameweek 4

Unfortunately GW4 was almost as bad as GW2. 5.5m gameweek rank. Thank goodness for Salah. The defence scored -1 between them, captain blanked. But I did work out that after 4 gameweeks, on 200 points, if I had got the average gameweek score in gameweeks 1 to 4, I would have scored 200. So I was exactly average. As well as a poor week, it looked like I had a few issues with team with KDB injured, Reece James no longer certain starter and similar with Podence. And also probably the lack of Spurs players.

Gameweek 5

GW5 was an ok week. 66 points I would usually be pretty happy but it was quite a high scoring week with 60 points being average score. But it was a green arrow so will take it – its only a small green arrow though so it being a high scoring week. It was one of those weeks where all the big/popular players scored. Salah, DCL and Ings scored in my team but did not do much else (FPL wise) so all just single digits. Thank goodness though for Son! The right captain was picked. Thinking ahead to gameweek 6, I am going to get in Kane pretty certain. TAA could be on his last chance.
