Gameweek 24 I scored 90 points. I took an 8pt hit so a net score of 82. It is a green arrow so can’t complain – and it was only really my attackers who let me down as everyone else returned (except Soucek). Although did not captain Gundogan and he missed 1 game, can’t complain at him getting 19 points!

However, if I’d done nothing and captained Gundogan, would have scored 87 pts. Got in Sterling, Cavani, Mee & Shaw for Grealish, Firmino, Stones and Robertson. Could have done with 2FTs to sort flagged players!

My transfers were mostly to get in Sterling to captain him. He is a relatively low ownership so thought it could have really helped my rank. Unfortunately only attacking return was an assist – and he even got booked v Everton so couple points less. Another reason for 8 point hit was to get rid of Firmino and get Cavani in. Bit of United fan bias but Cavani had been rested midweek and next couple fixtures were/are West Brom and Newcastle. But of course United were United and were rubbish v West Brom.

Not sure what to do with team for GW25. Initially plan was to get in a Leeds defender – thinking about upcoming double gameweeks/blank gameweeks. But now suddenly have several flagged players. Not too bothered about no Robertson and Firmino (although Firmino of course got an assist). Think I am OK with Stones out – although City are really good, Stones rotation risk and happy with his replacement Shaw.

Looking at my rank compared to other ranks, I have slipped a bit further away from 1m rank. Just the 2 points though. End of GW22, I was 61 points away from 1m rank. Although I was just 5 points away from 2m rank so thats good I guess.

But my overall rank is not going anywhere really and not much rank change in last 5-6 gameweeks. Still should (hopefully) keep increasing rank. The casual player won’t be as aware about double GWs, blank GWs and planning ahead. Still got 2nd wildcard and triple captain chip. Don’t know about exact tactics yet!
