Gameweek 22 was a relatively high average scoring gameweek. We had many players with double digit scores although mostly by players not too highly owned – apart from Bruno. We got big points from likes of Wan-Bissaka, Martial, Justin and even Lingard! Time for JLingz in your FPL team?? Maybe too early but as a United fan, happy he has started well. And already have Antonio and Soucek so need another West Ham player?? (Although Lingard played well and it was against a good Villa team, Martinez should have saved Lingard’s shots – certainly at least one of them).

I got 68 points which was not bad. Everyone returned except my Liverpool players. Unfortunately I had 26 points on the bench. Soucek scored again – I have actually had him most of this season and had played him I think all but 1 gameweek – apart from this gameweek. I also got the captain wrong again. Like many I captained Salah. Looking at stats, maybe Bruno was obvious option. Brighton well organised, don’t give away too many chances, Liverpool poor recently.

But worse than that, Justin got 15 points. Its actually 2nd gameweek in a row I have a player on bench who scored 15 points!! – last week I had Bamford.

The problem with my team now, and its not usually the case for me, I don’t know who to bench now next week. I usually have rubbish on the bench! At the moment I am benching Robertson and Firmino. Not in form and they are playing Man City. They will probably score this coming gameweek! I plan to get rid of Firmino next gameweek and maybe Robertson. And Salah is at risk too – 7 blanks in 8. If Jota is back soon for Liverpool, that will be good for FPL and also Liverpool.

Looking at last few gameweeks, at least I got another green arrow but last 4 gameweeks, my overall rank has not really changed much. Need to get the captain right!

And even though my overall rank is higher than last week, I am 12 points further away from 1m rank
